Expectation on Friendship
What We Expect
As a Friend of WARA KarmaYoga, we value your compassionate support in any form. Whether it’s sharing our mission on social media, mentoring youth volunteers, checking in on local patients, or referring individuals in need, your involvement helps us extend our reach and impact.
Time and Resource Needed
Your commitment can be as flexible as your schedule allows. Even dedicating just 30 minutes a week to activities like sharing a life-saving post, introducing us to potential supporters, or volunteering for an annual event can make a significant difference.
What You Can Expect
By joining as a Friend, you’ll become part of our extended KarmaYoga family. We keep you informed with periodic updates, stories of lives healed, and opportunities to support or amplify work in your area. Your consistent goodwill and presence are deeply appreciated.
🌱 Who is a “Friend”?
A Friend is someone who cares deeply about our vision— Even if they can’t always be on the frontlines, they are always part of the backbone.
You might be:
A well-wisher who shares our stories on WhatsApp and social media
A working professional who mentors our youth volunteers once a month
A retired elder who checks on a local patient and shares updates
A local teacher, priest, nurse, or shopkeeper who refers those in distress
A well-connected networker who introduces us to changemakers or donors
A storyteller or content creator who shares our work in your community
Whatever your background, if you stand with our mission, you are already our friend.
🌟 Why We Need Friends Like You
Our flagship program addresses healthcare, eldercare, and mental wellness— But healing doesn’t only happen in clinics. It begins in the hearts and homes of people who care.
As a Friend, you:
Help us reach your networks—locally or globally
Give feedback that keeps us grounded
Become a voice for invisible communities
Add credibility and trust at the grassroots
Help bridge cultural, language, and digital divides
Inspire others just by showing quiet support
Healing Bharat will take millions of silent friends like you.

A Friend is someone who commits a few hours each month to support our causes like healthcare access, elderly care, and community wellness without a long-term obligation.
How is a Friend different from a Volunteer?
Friends offer help occasionally—usually for one day a month. Volunteers take on weekly responsibilities or ongoing tasks. Friends are often first-timers or flexible supporters.

We request about 9 hours per month—just one day of genuine service—either onsite or remotely, depending on the activity.
